My name is Aaron Swallow and I have over 25 years of professional natural resources and ranchland planning and management experience. I have the knowledge, skills and abilities to work with you to achieve the goals that you want for your land for conservation, wildlife habitat improvement, wildfire preparations and anything else that you have been talking about for years.

My Story
I have a passion for natural resources management that started at an early age by being from a Montana ranching background. It was deeply ingrained in me that if you take care of the land, it will take care of you. I carried this ethos throughout my life by pursuing work and education that led me to the outdoors. I have over 25 years of experience in the complex world of natural resources management wherein I have learned to navigate the local and federal permitting processes, successfully apply for external funds for projects, and I am familiar with all Rocky Mountain ecosystems.
Along with my extensive experience in planning and implementing habitat improvement projects, I received a B.S. in Wildlife Biology from the University of Montana, and a M.S. in Rangeland Ecology and Watershed Management from the University of Wyoming. This educational background was an excellent complement to the years I served as a U.S. Forest Service Firefighter and Rangeland Management Specialist as well as the natural resources manager for a large ranch located in Southern Colorado. This federal and private lands management experience gave me the background to assist you with your needs as well as knowing the myriad of federal and state programs that may be used to offset your costs.
